| How can I upload my files to Tempfiles? |
| You can easily upload any of your files by clicking on the button "Click Here to Upload Your File" that you can see on the top of every page. Chose the file you are going to upload and confirm your choice by clicking on the button "Upload it". As soon as your file has been uploaded to the Tempfiles server, you will be able to manage it by using some administration tools like downloading and deleting the file, editing its description, changing or adding publisher's name or email, and protecting your file with your password. |
| How can I delete an uploaded file? |
| When the file has been uploaded already, links for download and delete are shown. You can copy and save both links. Whenever you want to delete, you can use web browser to go to the link. Our system will manage to delete it autometically. |
| How can I share my files with others? |
| As soon as you upload your file to Tempfiles, it is available for all Tempfiles users who can see and download it. If you want to invite other people to see your file you should provide them with a shared link, which you get from the "Here is your download link" field every time after a new file has been uploaded. You should copy the link and e-mail it to a person you would like to share the file with. |
| Who can see my uploaded files? |
| Our service is open to public. Your files might spread via any websites or search engines (eg. google , yahoo). The "Terms of Service" states this condition. You should consider well before making decision and upload your files to our website. |
| Can I add my file to a particular Tempfiles category (photo, music, video, etc.) when uploading it? |
| You have no need to classify your files by yourself. Tempfiles system does it for you every time when you upload a new file by defining its category and adding your file to the appropriate category on Tempfiles storage. |
| How can I find a file I am interested in? |
| There are several ways to achieve your goal. Firstly,
try to use the Search option that will be available for you as soon
as you click on the "Search" button on the left top corner of any
Tempfiles page. Simply enter the search field of the following information:
the name (or just a part of it) of a file you are looking for, file's
type, or a word from file's description. Click to the "Search" button
next to the search field to continue your request In addition you can use the Browse option to find the file. To open the Browse page, click on the "Browse" button on the left top corner of any Tempfiles page. From the drop-down box select the category of the file you are looking for. |
| How can I download a file from Tempfiles? |
| If you have found the file you are interested in, in the Search or Browse lists, click on the blue arrow with the hint "Download" opposite the file name. You can easily download it by clicking on the Download button. |
| How long do you host files? |
| A Each file will remain on our servers for 1 month after the last time it was downloaded. |
